Who am I?
Being an avid athlete for as long I can remember, sports and the power of movement have defined me as a person.
Growing up an alpine ski racer, soccer player and competitive cyclist, I always appreciated the strength of my body. With age, I have learned that there is more than just the physical benefit that one receives from exercise. The mental clarity, confidence and enthusiasm for daily living plays a large part.
Stemming from a family that thrives on working with people, a background in Psychology and an extreme passion for movement, I was driven to start my own business.
Engaging with people while giving them the space, time and the guidance to become better versions of themselves is what I strive for. Being a catalyst for someone’s health, longevity and well-being comes easily to me because I understand how imperative it is for day-to-day functioning. The work we do in my studio is more than just physical. It is a place of personal growth, where both hardships and celebrations are shared. I believe that the body cannot improve without the mind being open and clear to do so.
I currently hold an AFPA Certified Personal Training Certification and have nearly fifteen years experience in the wellness industry. I have taught spinning, group fitness and yoga classes over the years as well as one on one personal training and developed corporate wellness programs for small businesses.
I am a New Hampshire native, attended Proctor Academy and then went on to University of Colorado at Boulder. I moved back east in 2005 and settled in Stowe, Vermont where I currently reside with my husband and fire cracker son, Lars. As a family we continue to pursue skiing, mountain biking and all thing physical and outdoors!
